May is the time of year when carp most frequently take the bait. With just a little feed, plenty of introduced fish measuring up to 50 cm can be caught. Lipno’s water, however, is cold and acidic. Carp do not spawn here, and they grow slowly. Without mass introduction, they would not even live here. However, modern carp fishermen will certainly find a large catch in Lipno. I recommend trying out the magic of evening eel fishing with earthworms or coarse fishing at sunset.
