Most of the surface is still frozen over. It is time to service the boats and engines and to organise or replenish equipment. You can bring your ice skates or cross country skis and take long trips on the flat and thick ice that covers the lake. It is possible to go as far as the tributary of the Vltava, where you can see a 100-year old weir which is usually hidden under the surface in the summer.
